QUAD ESL 57 Electrostatic Loudspeakers (Just Serviced) 

Here we have a superb pair of Quad ESL 57 electrostatic loudspeakers in wonderful almost original condition, and just serviced by myself.

The Only thing I have had to do is to replace the components in the audio transformer, they were too far out of spec. The other thing was to refinish the wood frames, otherwise everything else is original Quad and they have been very well looked after. I doubt these have ever been overdriven with no arcing of the panels that are completely leak free and produce excellent output. They power up and charge very quickly. 

The EHT rectifier blocks read up to spec, 6kv for bass and 1.5 kv for treble.The only other thing these do not have is the treble panel clamp boards fitted. These can be fitted if preferred at extra cost. (Please enquire)

So a lovely pair of serviced ESL 57s in great condition, sonically and cosmetically. Just the odd scratch marks to the wood legs, grills are in excellent condition for their age, just slight discoloration again due to the age. Mains cables are included.
